Our training program is designed to equip candidates with the skills to master the most commonly used valuation approaches for business valuation purposes.

The exam, of a total of four hours, is organised as a multiple-choice questionnaire across two modules:

• Business Valuation; and

• Luxembourg and Ethics.

With a required pass rate of 70% to 80% for both modules, the exam ensures that candidates are knowledgeable, exhibit the technical expertise and ethical standards that are at the core of the values upheld and promoted by LVPA. 

Partial exemptions may exist for candidates already holding certifications such as ASA, CBV, CVA and IIBV and will be assessed on a case by case basis.

To become a Certified Valuation Professional (CVP), candidates must first be or become a member of the Luxembourg Valuation Professionals Association (LVPA), either as an Associate or Full Member.

Following this, candidates must be accepted into the CVP program, which is contingent on their experience and seat availability. 

The first iteration of the program includes training sessions of our program held at: 

• PwC Luxembourg Cristal Park (2 Rue Gerhard Mercator, L-2182 Gasperich, Luxembourg); 

• from Monday 12 May 2025 to Friday 16 May 2025. 

Candidates are expected to dedicate a minimum of 15 hours to studying for the exam (on top of the 5-day training session). The exam will take place on the 27 June 2025 in PwC Luxembourg Cristal Park.
